According to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), ISIS, nor any other foreign terrorist group poses no specific threat to the United States in the immediate future. TheFBI, in a report released on August 13, 2014, echoed the same sentiment despite the fact that last year’s Boston Marathon bombing and the 2009 Fort Hood shooting were both carried out by radical Muslim extremists.
The British Are Telling a Different Story
Despite the fact that the American intelligence agencies believe there are no foreign terror threats to the United States, the BBC is reporting that the UK, operating off o the same intelligence information as the DHS and the FBI, has led British Prime Minister, David Cameron, to state that the UK government raised its terror threat level from “substantial” to “severe”.

A mysterious red glow across the pacific ocean has baffled pilots flying across it. JPC van Heijst was flying a Boeing 747-8 aircraft from Hong Kong to Alaska when he spotted the mysterious lights above the ocean half-way through his flight.
The bizarre lights were seen south of the Russian peninsula of Kamachatka and are thought to have originated from a huge volcano explosion under the surface of the ocean. The glow reportedly came 20 minutes after a vertical lightning strike was seen in the distance.
Van Heijst was left perplexed by the eye-catching lights and described the experience as ‘creepy’. There were no thunderstorms on their route to Alaska which suggests that the lightning bolt was not caused by a storm. He explained on PBASE that the only thing he could think of which was to cause the glow would be a volcano under the surface.
He said: “The closer we got, the more intense the glow became, illuminating the clouds and sky below us in a scary orange glow, in a part of the world where there was supposed to be nothing but water.

The document was released by the Texas Department of Public Safety and warned that ISIS was actively promoting and encouraging supporters to take advantage of the porous Texas-Mexico border to carry out terrorist attacks against US citizens.
The document attributed the increased interest by ISIS to a report done by journalist James O’Keefe. Though the report did not mention O’Keefe by name, it showed images of O’Keefe crossing the porous Texas-Mexico border while wearing an Osama bin Laden mask.
In addition to the report, U.S. Border Patrol Agents confirmed that the U.S. Border Patrol agency was indeed taking the threat seriously. A Border Patrol agent in the Laredo Sector told Breitbart Texas that they had credible information that ISIS was attempting to find individuals and groups in Nuevo-Laredo Mexico to assist in gaining entry into the united states.

Bitcoin made big news over the past year or so, when the price spiked and made some people rich. The possibility of fast money always generates a lot of commotion, and it certainly did this time.
Personally, I didn’t want the price of Bitcoin to spike; it grabbed people’s attention for all the wrong reasons. Cryptocurrencies—of which Bitcoin is the first, the best known, and currently the most important—are a revolution in commerce. But they are also much more than that.
Bitcoin is an intrusion into a stasis-oriented world: the child of radical concepts and cryptography, birthed by confirmed outsiders. This is a new and different thing, not a slightly different financial tool.
But even this is not what matters most about Bitcoin.

Advisory arrives from kingdom after it financed the terror caliphate
King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia, the most powerful Muslim in the world, is warning IS, formerly ISIS, will soon attack the United States.
“If we ignore them, I am sure they will reach Europe in a month and America in another month,” he told Asharq al-Awsat daily and Saudi-owned pan-Arab Al-Arabiya television on Saturday.
“Terrorism knows no border and its danger could affect several countries outside the Middle East,” he added.
“It is no secret to you, what they have done and what they have yet to do. I ask you to transmit this message to your leaders: ‘Fight terrorism with force, reason and (necessary) speed’.”
ISIS and its predecessor, al-Qaeda, were financed by Saudi Arabia. The Saudis routinely denounce the terrorist groups they finance after the groups gain international notoriety.
Bill Craig holds his hands in the air when a SWAT team inspects his umbrella. (Source: Bill Craig / Facebook)
SAN MARCOS, CA — A SWAT team was deployed and a university campus was locked down when someone suspected that a man carrying his umbrella was actually carrying a firearm.
The breathtaking overreaction occurred at California State University San Marcos (CSUSM) on the rainy Wednesday morning of August 20th, 2014. Staff member Bill Craig, who has worked for the university for 17 years, was walking across campus to his office with his folded-up umbrella.
A paranoid campus busybody spotted Mr. Craig and assumed that his black umbrella was a rifle. The ignorant individual called the police to report a non-police officer bearing arms.
At 9:00 a.m., an order to “shelter in place” was issued, and students and staff members hunkered down as heavily armed police officers descended upon the campus.
“Immediately… the doors [were] locked and then they took all the chairs and all the tables and barricaded the doors,” said student James Collins to ABC 10 News. “People were kind of freaked out and you could tell that there was a nervous tension.”
San Diego County Sheriff’s deputies — toting rifles of their own — spotted Mr. Craig, who matched the description of the “gunman,” and quickly “disarmed” him of his umbrella.

For months Europe had thought that mere verbal (and hollow) threats, populist posturing and propaganda would be enough to force Russia’s Putin to back off and withdraw from the endless Ukraine escalation, into a Kremlin cocoon with his tail between his legs. What they didn’t anticipate was that Putin would in no way back down (as that would be seen as defeat and weakness by his numerous internal foes), nor would have have to: with Russia providing a third of European gas and with winter approaching, Russia had all the trumps cards from day one. Furthermore, as a result of escalating trade wars it is not Russia’s economy that is hurting but Europe, which is on the verge of a historic triple-dip recession, only unlike 2010 and 2012, this time it is Europe’s growth dynamo, Germany, itself which is leading the lemmings into the abyss.
Now, finally, Europe has realized that its “strategy” (if it ever had one, red: Obama’s ‘strategy’ on dealing with ISIS) was flawed. It is with this mindset that European Union leaders met in Brussels earlier today and while, as usual, the the threat of new and improved sanctions to Russia was present, suddenly Europe’s leaders seem far more “fearful of a new Cold War and self-inflicted harm to their own economies” and instead decided to give Moscow another chance to make peace according to Reuters.
Confirming Europe’s realization just how serious events are, and how far down the rabbit hole Europe’s bureaucrats have gone, French President Francois Hollande, while stressing that a failure by Russia to reverse a flow of weapons and troops into eastern Ukraine would force the bloc to impose new economic measures i.e., nothing new, it is what he said just after that indicated a dramatic change in rhetoric: “Are we going to let the situation worsen, until it leads to war?” Hollande said at a news conference.“Because that’s the risk today. There is no time to waste.”
